About Us
Supporting People in Building Lives That Reflect Who They Are
Our work begins with listening, respect, and a commitment to individual choice.
Our Mission
Supportive Connections LLC provides individualized, person-centered services that empower individuals with developmental disabilities to exercise choice, build independence, strengthen community connections, and pursue meaningful personal goals.
Our Philosophy
We believe effective support begins by understanding the person rather than simply focusing on disability or support needs. We listen, provide support, share resources, teach skills, and help individuals identify and pursue meaningful opportunities.
What Guides Our Work
Choice, self-direction, independence, dignity and respect, community inclusion, personal relationships, skill development, informed decision-making, individual strengths, and meaningful goals.
Alan Kosgeryan and Brittney Halverson are the husband-and-wife team behind Supportive Connections LLC. They founded Supportive Connections with a shared purpose: to help individuals and families navigate complex service systems, understand their options, and advocate for the services and supports they need to achieve greater independence and success.
When you choose Supportive Connections, you don't just get one person working on your case — you get both Alan and Brittney. Together, they bring Alan’s professional experience from both the Regional Center and service provider sides of the system and Brittney’s unique perspective as both a parent and professional advocate.
As a family-owned and operated agency, Supportive Connections understands that every individual and family has a different story, different needs, and different goals. Alan and Brittney are committed to providing personalized guidance, hands-on support, and strong advocacy throughout the process.
From navigating Regional Center services and the Self-Determination Program (SDP) to assistance with IHSS, SSI, Medi-Cal, CalFresh, school-related services, and other supports, their goal is to help families understand the system and advocate effectively for appropriate services.
We don't just help you navigate the system — we stand beside you throughout the process. When disagreements or denials arise, Alan and Brittney are prepared to help families understand their options, organize supporting information, advocate through available administrative processes, and support them through appeals or fair-hearing proceedings when appropriate.
At Supportive Connections, your family becomes part of our connection.

Alan Kosgeryan, B.S.
Co-Founder & Owner
Alan Kosgeryan is the Co-Founder of Supportive Connections LLC and brings experience from both the Regional Center system and the service provider side of developmental disability services. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Business and Psychology, providing him with a strong foundation in organizational leadership, human behavior, and person-centered support.
Alan began his career in the field as a Regional Center Case Manager/Service Coordinator, where he managed a large caseload that included individuals participating in the Self-Determination Program (SDP). This experience gave him firsthand knowledge of the Regional Center system, service coordination, and the challenges individuals and families can face when navigating available services and supports.
He later transitioned to the service provider side, serving as an Operations Director for an agency providing Independent Living Services (ILS), Supported Living Services (SLS), Day Program Services, Adaptive Skills Training (AST), and Employment Services.
With experience on both sides of the system, Alan brings a well-rounded understanding of how services are coordinated, developed, and delivered. Through Supportive Connections LLC, he uses that experience to help individuals and families better understand their options, navigate services, and develop supports centered around each individual’s unique needs, goals, and desired outcomes.

Brittney Halverson
Co-Founder & Owner
Brittney Halverson is the Co-Founder of Supportive Connections LLC, an Independent Facilitator and Advocate, and, most importantly, a parent of a child with autism. Her personal experience navigating complex service systems has given her a firsthand understanding of the challenges families can face when trying to access the right services and supports for their loved ones.
As a parent, Brittney has personally navigated the Regional Center system, school and special education services, IHSS, SSI, and other community resources. These experiences inspired her to turn her knowledge and advocacy into a career helping other individuals and families.
Brittney has been professionally working in the developmental disabilities field for over two years, supporting individuals and families as an Independent Facilitator and Advocate. Her focus is helping families understand their options, navigate complicated processes, advocate for their needs, and access services and supports that promote independence, inclusion, and long-term success.
