Our Roots
We founded Supportive Connections LLC with a singular focus: to bridge the gap between bureaucracy and the individuals who deserve full control over their lives. Our journey began in California, driven by the belief that every person, regardless of their developmental path, is entitled to a life of dignity, inclusion, and self-directed purpose.
From our first person-centered plan to becoming a trusted facilitator in the Self-Determination Program, our dedication has remained unwavering. We are not just service providers; we are advocates and partners committed to ensuring that the voices of those we support form the very foundation of their future success and personal fulfillment.
Our founders began their careers in the developmental services field working within the Regional Center system as Case Managers, managing caseloads of more than 94 individuals, including participants in the Self-Determination Program (SDP). This experience provided a strong foundation and in-depth understanding of the Regional Center system, service coordination, the Self-Determination Program, and person-centered planning requirements.

They later transitioned to the service provider side to make a more direct and meaningful impact in the daily lives of the individuals and families they serve. In this role, they have provided a wide range of services throughout the State of California, including Supported Living Services (SLS), Independent Living Services (ILS), Adaptive Skills Training (AST), Respite, Personal Assistant Supports, Employment Supports, Residential Facility services, and Day Program services for both traditional Regional Center consumers and individuals participating in SDP.

In addition to continuing to support individuals through these core services, the organization now also provides Independent Facilitation and Person-Centered Planning services for individuals and families who are transitioning into, or actively participating in, the Self-Determination Program.
